Job Introduction
An opportunity has arisen for a Site Operative to join the Landmarc Support Services team at our Wyke Regis and Chickerell Training Camp’s in Dorset.
As the Site Operative you will be responsible for assisting and ensuring the smooth day to day running of the camps and range by carrying out housekeeping and maintenance duties. You will be part of a small but dedicated team that takes enormous pride in what they do.

This position is based on a Permanent contract, it’s a Full-time role covering 37 hours per week from Monday - Friday.
Main Responsibility
Ensuring the camps and range are maintained and cleaned to a high standard
Cleaning accommodation and office blocks, including; ablutions, showers blocks, communal areas etc.
Carrying out tests – Flushing of outlets, fire extinguisher and fire alarm checks etc.
Grounds maintenance such as; grass cutting, strimming, hedge cutting
Basic maintenance such as; litter picking, replacing door locks, moving furniture etc.
Fuel Dispensing and Crane Slinging when required (training provided)
Taking part in weekly ‘Wide Awake’ Security checks
Assisting the sub departments for preparation of external inspections
Occasional site access control duties
Using a tablet to detail record completion
Carry out any other additional requirements as needed
The Ideal Candidate
Knowledge of Health & Safety, manual handling and safe systems of work
Basic Housekeeping, caretaking and DIY skills
Excellent communicator with people on all levels
Ability to complete documentation
Basic IT skills and ability to use a Tablet
Must hold a valid UK Driving Licence (essential)
