Job Introduction

Landmarc Support Services are currently recruiting for a Facilities Team Manager to manage the Hard and Soft FM provision at Okehampton Training Camp.

 

You will be responsible for the management and allocation of accommodation and FM services provision at Okehampton. This is an exciting role for anyone that has a solid foundation in the FM Industry and is looking to develop their career within a unique environment.

Main Responsibility

To manage all aspects of the hard and soft FM on site

Have up to date knowledge of relevant H&S legalisation

Scheduling workloads and managing work for a team of site operatives and others if required.

Be the Team Manager and main point of contact of a Team Leader and Site Operatives with excellent people management skills.

Performance manage their team.

Willingness to travel to other sites if required

Manage training area and facilities bookings / usage via the use of a booking system.

Carry out routine inspections of buildings to identify maintenance and activity requirements

Actively ensure resolution of issues identified by Landmarc staff, the customer or site users and monitor and develop customer trends

The Ideal Candidate

Knowledge of Health and Safety such as COSHH, manual handling, risk assessments and safe systems of work to IOSH Managing Safely level.

Knowledge of workload scheduling and work order processes, preferably in a multi- tasking environment

Knowledge of military stores accounting and waste management.

Previous working knowledge of Facilities management. (Desirable)

Ability to understand budgets

Drive continuous improvement

Workforce planning skills

Manage sub-contractors

Full driving licence – essential.
