Landmarc Support Services are currently seeking to recruit a Training Area Operative to join our dedicated team. In this role you will play a key part in helping to maintain a safe, efficient and sustainable place for our Armed Forces to train.

- Salary: £27,877.57 + £1,127.50 Variable Days Allowance
- Location: Ash Ranges, Heath vale Bridge Road GU125EU
- Contract: Permanent / Full‑time / On-site
- Hours: 06:00 - 23:00, Monday - Sunday

What You’ll Do
- To ensure that the Defence Training Estate is kept in top condition
- Carry out preventative, planned and reactive maintenance tasks
- Operation and maintenance of plant and equipment (training provided)
- Manufacturing and deploying targets
- Equipment Testing
- Driving and operating fleet vehicles
- Use of Warning systems including training control offices, flags and lights
- Ensure that the facilities adhere to strict safety protocols
- Stock management
- Completion of work orders and pre planned maintenance.
- Complete all necessary documentation using both IT and paper-based systems
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- Knowledge of Grounds and Landscape Maintenance
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic IT skills with ability to use a tablet
- Ability to work effectively in a diverse, fast-paced team environment
- Good knowledge of COSHH, manual handling, risk assessments and Health & Safety protocols
- A valid Manual UK driving licence is essential to carry out the duties of this role
Desirable
- Knowledge of working in a rural environment
- Knowledge of range assignment instructions and range standing orders
- Experience as a range/ training area user
