Team Leader

Job Introduction

Landmarc Support Services is seeking a motivated Team Leader to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead a group of operatives dedicated to the upkeep and maintenance of the Training Estate facilities. Typical tasks will include cleaning accommodation blocks, and maintaining the grounds and buildings to ensure a safe, efficient and sustainable place for our Armed Forces to stay while they train.

We are looking for someone with experience working in a Facilities Management industry or leading a high-performing team in a similar environment.

 

Shifts run between: 07:30 - 16:00 from Monday to Friday

Hours of work: 37 per week

Contract: Permanent

Location: Longmoor Camp, Liss, Hampshire, GU33 6EL

Main Responsibility

Assist the Team Supervisor with daily operations

Lead and manage a team, acting as their primary point of contact for task allocation and performance management.

Play an active role - 80% of your time will involve working alongside your team

Coach team members on waste reduction, cleaning, and maintenance

Undertake cleaning duties within facilities and accommodation blocks

Oversee stock levels, ensuring materials and supplies are managed efficiently

Carry out grounds maintenance tasks

Conduct general building maintenance tasks

Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety regulations

Complete all necessary documentation using both IT and paper-based systems

Perform additional tasks as needed to support the overall success of the team

The Ideal Candidate

Knowledge of Soft Facilities Management Services

Previous Leadership experience is preferred

General experience in housekeeping, building and grounds maintenance

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels

Basic IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and databases

Ability to work effectively in a diverse, fast-paced team environment

Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures 

A proactive approach to learning and personal development

A valid UK driving licence is essential to carry out the duties of this role
