Job Introduction

Landmarc Support Services is seeking a motivated Facilities Team Leader to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead a group of operatives dedicated to the upkeep and maintenance of the Training Estate facilities. Typical tasks will include cleaning accommodation blocks, and maintaining the grounds and buildings to ensure a safe, efficient and sustainable place for our Armed Forces to stay while they train.

We are looking for someone with experience working in a Facilities Management industry or leading a high-performing team in a similar environment.

 

Shifts run between:  Monday - Thursday 07:30 - 16:00, Friday 07:30 - 15:30

Hours of work: 37 per week

Contract: Permanent

Location: Longmoor Camp, Liss, Hampshire, GU33 6EL

Interviews will be held on: Tuesday 2nd and Thursday 4th December

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead team members in duties and performance
  • Task allocation and work checking
  • Working alongside the team in general housekeeping, building and grounds maintenance
  • Motivate, guide and mentor team members to achieve goals.
  • Monitoring the completion of Preventative Planned Maintenance and Reactive Maintenance Tasks to maintain compliance
  • Operate fleet vehicles and plant machinery as required
  • Ensure all safety regulations and operational procedures are followed at all times
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation using IT and paper-based systems
  • Perform additional duties as required to support the overall success of the team

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience of soft facilities management services
  • Previous leadership experience
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage at all levels
  • Strong knowledge of Health & Safety protocols, including COSHH, manual handling, and risk assessments
  • Proven ability to organise, prioritise and plan workload
  • Familiarity with estate services, grounds maintenance, and plant machinery operations
  • IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office and database management
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • A proactive approach to learning, with a willingness to undertake further training
  • A valid UK manual driving licence is essential for this role
