Support Manager

Job Introduction

Landmarc Support Services are currently looking to recruit a Support Manager to join the team at Longmoor Camp on the outskirts of Liss in Hampshire.

As the Support Manager you will be the focal point in all matters related to Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental, the successful person will also have a strong background in management reporting and have previously managed teams.

Main Responsibility

Manage a team of people, this includes staff dispersed across multiple sites

Being the regional focal point for Health & Safety including collation of information for reporting, recording accidents, incidents and near misses and identifying suitable people to carry our basic and formal investigations

Manage the regional audit programme acting as lead auditor, collating reports and action plans as required

Co-ordinate contributions to the Environmental Management System

Manage the administration services

Manage the Operations Room requirements across the region

Manage information and reporting requirements

Plant and Fleet across the region, including fuel usage and analysis

Responsibility and management of issued property

Deputise for the Regional Operations Manager

The Ideal Candidate

Knowledge of management theories and techniques gained through a Level 5 qualification such as NVQ in a Business Management/People Management or equivalent and proven experience.

Knowledge of health and safety such as COSHH, manual handling, risk assessments and safe systems of work to NEBOSH General Certificate level.

Excellent knowledge of Environmental Management Systems. This may have been gained by relevant in-house training, practical experience and/or through IEMA Foundation Certificate level study. 

Managing multi services delivery gained through managing multi-disciplinary teams.

Project work and the practicalities of delivery.

Knowledge of auditing systems gained through appropriate training and experience of undertaking audits as a lead auditor.
