Site Operative

Job Introduction

Landmarc Support Services is currently seeking to recruit 2x Site Operatives at Halton Training Camp in  Lancaster.

As the Site Operative you will be responsible for looking after the buildings on the camp by carrying out housekeeping and maintenance duties. You will be part of a small but dedicated team that takes enormous pride in what they do.

You will be required to work flexibly over the course of a 37 hour working week. You will be required to work some weekends, this is reflected in our Variable Days Allowance.

 

Hours of work - 07.30 – 17.30

However, there is an option to be contracted on the extended contracted hours 0700 – 2359 hrs

Days of work - Between Monday & Sunday

Contract - Permanent

Annual Allowance - £1,127.50 Variable Days Allowance (for weekend work) 

Main Responsibility

General site duties and maintenance to include:

General and preventative maintenance

Housekeeping/cleaning

Grounds maintenance

Soft Facilities Management

Stock management

Waste services and sustainability tasks

Also carry out general tasks directed by the Site Manager

The Ideal Candidate

Understanding of Health and Safety such as COSHH and Safe Systems of Work

Knowledge and experience in general housekeeping/cleaning duties

Demonstrate proven track record of achieving objectives

Basic IT skills – Predominately tablet use

Excellent communication skills

Flexible attitude towards tasks

Must hold full UK driving licence (essential)
