Job Introduction
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Site Operative to join the Landmarc Support Services team at Chickerell Camp in Weymouth.
As the Site Operative you will be responsible for looking after the buildings on the camp by carrying out housekeeping and basic maintenance duties. You will be part of a small but dedicated team that takes enormous pride in what they do.

This position is based on a Permanent contract, it’s a full-time role covering 37 hours per week from Monday to Friday.
Main Responsibility
To ensure that the Training Estate Facilities are fit for purpose
Basic building maintenance
Cleaning accommodation and office blocks, including; ablutions, shower blocks, communal areas etc.
Grounds maintenance such as; grass cutting, strimming, hedge cutting
Site waste control and collection duties
Complete all relevant documentation utilising both IT and paper based systems
Carry out any other additional requirements as needed
The Ideal Candidate
Knowledge of Health & Safety, manual handling and safe systems of work
Basic Housekeeping and caretaking skills
Excellent communicator with people on all levels
Ability to complete documentation using a tablets
Basic IT skills
Must hold a valid UK Driving Licence (essential)
Willing to be vaccinated against work place risks (essential)
