Role: Quality Manager

Location: Westdown Camp (SP3 4RS)

Hybrid working available, by negotiation

Salary: £48,000 - £52,500

Car Allowance: £600 per month

 

Landmarc Support Services are currently looking to recruit a Quality Manager to join the team at Westdown Camp, on Salisbury Plain in Wiltshire. The role will report into the Governance and Relationship Manager, and wont have line management responsibility.

 

As the Quality Manager, you are responsible for developing, implementing and reporting on all aspects of assurance; contractual,  wider ISO standard assurance requirements and recording and managing other instances of assurance which impact on Landmarc.  Responsible for all aspects of ISO 9001 certification.  This role will be the business owner of the assurance IT service, Entropy.

Main Responsibility

  • Represent the business as the Contract Quality Manager to the customer and attend quality forums and joint activities.
  • Ensure the business maintains the contract, shareholder and trade/industry required Quality Standards and accreditations; ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
  • Own, maintain and develop the documentation to support the development and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System, including the Quality Management Plan.
  • Act as business focal point with ISO accreditation body, liaising with auditors and Landmarc teams to coordinate assurance activities.
  • Produce, manage and ensure delivery of the required audit and inspection programmes.
  • Produce, maintain and ensure closure of actions arising/improvements (non-compliance log and actions).
  • Ensure all Business Processes remain current, in accordance with the contract and are used effectively.  Own the process library and support process development and review
    • Support the training and development of all staff to ensure awareness and understanding of Quality and supporting operating systems and the relevance to business objectives.

The Ideal Candidate

What you know

           

  • Experience of managing performance checked multi service facilities and services contracts
  • Knowledge of Health & safety, Environmental Management and Information Security Management systems
  • Educated to HNC/HND/Degree level or equivalent experience
  • Hold a Lead Assessors Certificate recognised by the Chartered Quality Institute
  • Chartered or Incorporated Member of a relevant professional Institute
  • Knowledge of the MoD Defence contract workings

  • Communicate clearly and effectively with all stakeholders
  • IT literate, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such a Word, Excel, Project etc.
  • Good negotiating and customer care skills/collaborative worker

Hybrid working will be considered for this role, but we are looking for someone that can be in the office 2-3 days per week.
