Job Introduction
Landmarc are currently looking for an Operations Room Administrator to join our team at West Tofts Camp, on the outskirts of Thetford in Norfolk
You will be responsible for carrying out duties as required, this will mainly include administrative support and use of radio communication equipment, talking to stakeholders across the estate.
You will ideally have knowledge of working on military ranges and be happy to work on a shift basis, including weekends and nights – the shifts will be spread over 3.5 days.
Main Responsibility
Office and administration skills
Demonstrate proven track record of achieving objectives to set standards
Ability to follow processes within time constraints
Ability to use bespoke and off the shelf software packages
Good telephone manner and able to deal with demanding customers
Able to work under pressure at times of importance
Work within a rota of 24/7 (12hr) day/night shift system
Use of radio communication equipment
The Ideal Candidate
Knowledge of emergency response procedures
Knowledge of mapping and grid systems
Ability to operate office and communications equipment effectively
Computer literate
A good level of numeracy and literacy gained through a Level 2 qualification such as a G.C.S.E. grade A-C/4-9 or equivalent
Proven administration or support services knowledge
Previous working knowledge of communicating with stakeholders
