Maintenance Supervisor (B&CE)

Job Introduction

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor (B&CE) to join our dynamic Maintenance team. If you're passionate about delivering top-tier estate maintenance and supporting a skilled team, this could be your next big move.

Shifts run between: 08:00 - 16:30 from Monday to Thursday. Friday 08:00 - 16:00 

Hours of work: 37 per week

Contract: Permanent

Location: Westdown Camp, Tilshead, Salisbury, Wiltshire, SP3 4RS

Interviews to be held between: Wednesday 3rd - Thursday 4th September

Main Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all site maintenance requirements with the Maintenance Manager
  • To ensure that the Training Estate Facilities are fit for purpose in accordance with the allocation and ensure compliance with the TESC service modules
  • Manage maintenance activities via internal systems (advanced Excel skills needed)
  • Liaise with stakeholders for effective maintenance delivery
  • Oversee reactive and planned and preventative maintenance
  • Ensuring contractors and technicians are following correct H&S
  • To complete all relevant documentation utilising both IT and paper based systems.
  • Writing reports on building inspections
  • To carry out additional works in response to additional contract requirements

The Ideal Candidate

  • Strong health and safety knowledge (COSHH, risk assessments, IOSH Managing Safely)
  • Knowledge in Manual Handling, CDM and safe systems of work
  • Knowledge of built estate management
  • Team leadership ability
  • Clear communicator with clients
  • Knowledge of workload scheduling and work order processes, preferably in a multi- tasking environment
  • A valid Manual UK driving licence is essential to carry out the duties of this role
