Maintenance Manager

Job Introduction

Landmarc Support Services, a leading facilities management company, is currently seeking a Maintenance Manager to join their dedicated team based at Hythe Ranges in Kent.

As the Maintenance Manager you will manage a team of up to 6 Engineers and 2 Supervisors to ensure compliance across all sites they are responsible for. The successful applicant will have an excellent understanding of work scheduling, health & safety, compliance and managing KPI's.

 

This regional role will require occasional travel within the South East area.

Main Responsibility

  • Manage reactive and PPM tasks, adhering to the relevant deadlines
  • Lead and manage a team, ensuring performance, safety, and compliance
  • Oversee Hard FM across the South East region
  • Schedule and manage maintenance tasks (planned and reactive)
  • Manage contractors and ensure timely task completion
  • Ensure compliance with CDM regulations, Building regulations, and safety standards
  • Write contract specifications and manage contractors across multiple sites
  • Maintain and update asset records using IT and paper systems
  • Manage KPIs

The Ideal Candidate

  • Knowledge of property maintenance
  • Ability to benchmark quotes prior to approval
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of leading successful teams
  • Excellent understanding of Health & Safety (COSHH, risk assessments, IOSH Managing Safely)
  • Understanding of workload scheduling and work order processes
  • Good working knowledge of Excel, reporting and CAFAM systems
  • Familiarity with SFG20 and budget management
  • Willingness to travel and participate in on-call duties
  • Full Valid UK driving licence
