Maintenance & Compliance Manager

Job Introduction

Due to internal promotion, Landmarc Support Services are currently looking for a Maintenance & Compliance Manager to join the team at West Tofts on the outskirts of Thetford, in Norfolk. The successful person will have an in depth understanding of building compliance and maintenance.

Main Responsibility

  • As Maintenance & Compliance Manager you will ensure all legal and statutory obligations in terms of property maintenance, are achieved.
  • Manage planned and preventative maintenance tasks as required ensuring that all tasks are completed according to designated timescales.
  • Liaise with all stakeholders to ensure effective maintenance delivery.
  • Update maintenance and asset information utilising bespoke software packages.
  • Write contract specifications, evaluate quotations, and manage contractors for reactive additional works tasks.

The Ideal Candidate

Will have experience of: 

  • Property compliance legislation and best practice within a similar organisation. Ideally, with knowledge of SFG20 standards.
  • Managing Legionella and Asbestos Management Plans
  • Providing expert advice to all members of the team and other stakeholders on key areas of compliance and Health and Safety
  • Managing Health and Safety and writing task specific risk assessments and method statements. Ideally hold IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH qualification
  • Management of contractors ensuring CDM compliance.
  • Implementing and interrogating systems and developing strategic approaches
  • Delivering service to tight deadlines and excellent quality standards.
  • Working to budgets to ensure best value.
  • Driving continuous improvement
  • Be willing to do training to undertake AP and RP Duties (Attracts additional allowance)
