Job Introduction

Location: Netheravon, Wiltshire (with travel to UK sites as required)
Salary: £40,000 Plus Car Allowance of £6000 Per Annum

Hybrid working available - Three office days per week, with flexibility to work from home on others


About the Role

We are looking for a creative and technically skilled Learning & Development Advisor (Digital Content) to join our team. In this role, you’ll design, develop, and deliver engaging digital and video-based training content that supports skills development across our business.

Working closely with subject matter experts, you’ll be hands-on in all aspects of content creation – from storyboarding and scripting through to filming, editing, and deployment. You’ll also help manage our mini-studio, support live-streamed events both on-site and in the field, and ensure our training resources remain up to date and impactful.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and produce bespoke video-based and digital training materials for deployment via Moodle.
  • Manage the full content creation lifecycle, including scripting, shooting, editing, and post-production.
  • Work with subject matter experts to translate technical content into engaging learning solutions.
  • Support live-streamed training events and business updates, both from our Netheravon base and on location.
  • Edit and publish employee-generated GoPro content, coordinating hardware and cataloguing video assets.
  • Maintain and update training materials to ensure accuracy, relevance, and alignment with business needs.
  • Provide first-line Moodle support to users and assist with account creation.
  • Manage external resources, such as presenters or technical specialists, when required.

 

About You

You’ll be someone who combines technical expertise in digital content creation with a strong understanding of learning and development principles. You thrive on bringing ideas to life, have excellent attention to detail, and can communicate clearly with colleagues at all levels.

 

Essential skills and knowledge:

  • Experience with video/audio equipment such as Panasonic CX350, Bird Dog P200s, Rode Radio Mics, GoPros, and mixers.
  • Skilled in Adobe Premiere Pro and Articulate 360.
  • Strong storyboarding, scriptwriting, and editing skills.
  • Experience in producing live-streamed events.
  • Understanding of learning trends, including AI and short-form content.
  • Knowledge of the training cycle and use of LMS platforms (e.g., Moodle).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Working knowledge of Health &and Safety practices (COSHH, manual handling, risk assessment).

Prerequisites:

  • Valid UK driving licence.
  • Ability to pass Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS).
  • Minimum 5 years UK residency (to meet security clearance requirements).
