Job Introduction
Landmarc Support Services is currently looking to recruit an IT Security Officer to join the team at Westdown Camp in Wiltshire.
Main Responsibility
Responsible for the IT Security for Landmarc
Fulfilling the role of IT Security Officer for Landmarc as defined in the Risk Management Accreditation Document Set (RMADS)
Maintain and update the ISO27001 accredited Information Security Management System (ISMS) and ensure staff are aware of its content.
Liaising with the IT Management Team to develop and manage IT security processes, best practice and documentation, implementing policy and providing direction within your area of competency
Acting as company subject matter expert for all security-related matters and liaising with appropriate MoD staff e.g. Accreditor(s) and Security Assurance Co-ordinator(s)
Understand and keep updated with JSP604, JSP440 and any other relevant Joint Service Publications as and when required
Coordinating Security Working Group meetings
Responsibility for ensuring that anti-virus protection is maintained on all workstations
Responsible for implementation of the IT Security Task List as agreed with the Head of IT
Support the delivery and development of processes and guidance for the contract requirements as specified below. Ensure that the appropriate section of the contractors plan is updated as required
The Ideal Candidate
Comprehensive knowledge of writing and maintaining security documentation, such as Risk Management & Accreditation Document Set (RMADS), Security Operating Procedures (SyOPS) and other IT security policies
CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) or equivalent qualification or experience. (Desirable)
Certificate of completion from McAfee VirusScan and McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator Administration Course (Desirable)
Knowledge of the CESG Assisted Products Service (CAPS)
Knowledge of workstation/server/network security in a Microsoft Windows environment
Knowledge of hard drive and removable media encryption technologies
Knowledge of physical IT equipment security
Knowledge of obtaining and maintaining ISO27001 accreditation
