Job Introduction
Landmarc Support Services is currently seeking to recruit a Grounds Maintenance Operative at West Tofts Training Camp in Norfolk.
As a Grounds Maintenance Operative you will be responsible for carrying out Grounds maintenance on the estate. You will be part of small but dedicated team that takes enormous pride in what they do. No experience required, just a good attitude and willingness to learn.

Hours of work: 37 per week
Days of work: Mon- Fri
Contract: Permanent
Main Responsibility
To ensure that the Training Estate Facilities are fit for purpose
Operate ride-on mowers to maintain large grassy areas
Use pedestrian mowers and push mowers for precise trimming
Perform general grounds maintenance tasks, including weeding, planting, and pruning
Ensure all equipment is used safely and maintained properly
Adhere to Health & Safety regulations and safe systems of work
Maintain records of tasks completed and report any issues
Work in a diverse multi-tasking mobile team environment
Complete all relevant documentation utilising both IT and paper based systems
Carry out any other additional requirements as needed
The Ideal Candidate
Hold a valid UK driving licence to be able to carry out the duties of this role (essential)
Knowledge of Health & Safety
Excellent communication skills
Ability to complete documentation
Basic IT skills
Has a passion for outdoor work and grounds maintenance
Is reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team
Safe use of Pesticides qualification (desirable)
ATV operation (desirable)
