Electrical Maintenance Technician

Job Introduction

Landmarc Support Services is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at Hythe Ranges.

The role will require you to be responsible for any maintenance both planned and reactive on site.  The successful candidate will be a good team player working within a small but dedicated team also with the ability to work alone or with minimum supervision.

 

Location: Hythe Ranges, Reachfields, Hythe, Kent, CT21 6QD

On Call Duties required: Overtime applicable

Travel required: To support at our Lydd, Cheriton and Crowborough sites.

Main Responsibility

  • Maintain and repair electrical systems per IET Wiring Regulations
  • Support the team with major and minor maintenance tasks
  • Ensure site safety, adhering to Health & Safety protocols
  • Conduct risk assessments and follow safe work systems
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth site operations

The Ideal Candidate

  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
  • Experience in a commercial environment focused on quality and compliance
  • Good IT skills, including use of mobile devices
  • Excellent communication skills

 

Essential Criteria:

  • Recognised electrical apprenticeship (e.g., NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation) 
  • BS7671 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • BS2391 or equivalent in inspection and testing 
  • Must hold Full UK driving licence to drive company van
  • Willingness to join the on-call rota
