Electrical Maintenance Technician

Job Introduction

Due to internal the promotion, we are seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join the team that are responsible for all day-to-day maintenance activities across the Eastern Region.

The role will be based from West Tofts (IP26 5EP), working predominantly Monday to Friday however; there is a requirement to participate in out of hour on call duties (allowance and overtime applicable)

You will be provided with a van and fuel card, for business use. 

 

Main Responsibility

Support other technicians with any major or minor maintenance work.

Complete all necessary PPM's and reactive maintenance schedules within agreed timescales and to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and as required.

Prioritising and completing maintenance and repair work to agreed timescales.

Comply with all statutory workplace safety requirements (Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, Manual Handling, Working at Height, etc.)

The Ideal Candidate

Will have completed a recognised electrical apprenticeship such as NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (Essential)

BS7671 18th edition wiring regulations (Essential)

C&G 2391 or equivalent inspection and testing (Desirable)

Have a full driving licence valid in the United Kingdom (Essential)

Be willing to participate in on call rota (Essential)

Will be a problem solver and have a can-do approach

Be willing to undertake training and development.

Experience of working in a commercial environment where quality and compliance are paramount.

Good IT skills and experience of using mobile devices

Excellent communication skills

Candidates must meet the UK residency requirements
