Job Introduction

Landmarc, a world leading provider of integrated support services to the military, offers exciting opportunities for talented people to join our team at RAF Spadeadam.

Landmarc currently require an Electrical Maintenance Fitter to join our thriving business and will require you to undertake on-site reactive and planned maintenance. The successful candidate will receive training on all equipment, be a good team player, have the ability to work within a small but dedicated team and be able to work alone or with minimum supervision

Main Responsibility

Carry out limited electrical maintenance, repairs and modifications to ground support plant and machinery

Pre- planned Maintenance on ground support equipment

Occasional electrical installation work, testing and repairs

Portable Appliance Testing

Management of on-site battery charging facilities.

Minor repair/replacement and fitting of basic cable assemblies and looms (Earthing cables/extensions)

The Ideal Candidate

Knowledge of electrical repairs gained through the completion of level 3 qualification such as City and Guilds, ONC, NVQ or equivalent supported by relevant experience

Knowledge of electrical testing & inspection

Knowledge of H&S such as COSHH, manual handling, risk assessments and safe systems of work

Experience of communicating with customers

Experience of Air Conditioning. Generators and Convertors would be advantageous however, training is available on all types of equipment
