Landmarc Support Services is looking for a Data and BI Analyst to join our team at Head Office. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact by enabling data-driven decisions across the business.

As a Data and BI Analyst, you'll play a key role in analysing, reviewing, and presenting data to identify trends, derive insights, and improve performance. You’ll engage with stakeholders across the business, enhancing our reporting capabilities and uncovering opportunities for improved data usage.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and maintain data models, dashboards and reports
  • Use tools such as Power BI, Excel and SQL to analyse data and generate insights
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements
  • Identify trends, patterns and improvement opportunities
  • Promote data quality and support data issue resolution
  • Support training for end users on dashboards and reports
  • Prepare regular performance and insight reports
  • Contribute to data-driven improvements in operational efficiency

 

What We’re Looking For

Essential Experience & Skills

  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role
  • Strong analytical and data storytelling abilities
  • Expertise in Power BI and advanced Excel
  • Solid understanding of data analysis methodologies
  • Ability to manage large datasets and draw meaningful conclusions

Desirable Skills

  • Degree in a business, data or statistical field
  • Experience with SQL, Python, GIS, ETL processes or APIs
  • Worked within a data team alongside Data Engineers
  • Experience using geospatial tools or working in a defence-related environment

Pre-Employment Requirements

  • Must successfully complete Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS)
  • Must be eligible for national Security Check (SC) vetting (5 years UK residency)
  • Full UK driving licence required

About the Company

Landmarc provides the support services that enable Armed Forces from around the world to prepare for frontline military operations across the UK Defence Training Estate (DTE). This includes maintaining and delivering safe and sustainable infrastructure, managing and operating training areas and ranges and delivering multi-million pound projects to improve vital training assets.

By joining Landmarc you will be supporting our vision to provide the best training experience we can for our Armed Forces. We are the first and only Special Purpose Vehicle to be contracted by the Ministry of Defence (MOD) as their Industry Partner on the UK Defence Training Estate and the only company that is solely dedicated to the UK DTE, delivering essential support services since 2003.
